Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

there isn’t any more Mosley Tribe sunglasses, but I think the brand is still under the Luxottica portfolio (Oliver Peoples created Mosley Tribe; Oakley bought Oliver Peoples; Luxottica bought Oakley), which is why I am surprised Initium made replicas of the Bromley. You know Lux would bring up a tough legal challenge if they wanted.
Initium doesn't cause any harm to those societies, it's not like they're stealing any market shares by recreating long discounted designs. I also think that since they mostly sell online or in a few stores, and make limited quantities, it's not important enough for Luxottica to start some legal actions against them.

People brave enough to show images of them wearing their silhouettes? Cant find any to make references from. Just want to know what 17mm and 19mm look like and its driving me crazy lol.

Hey so recently the initium website went to HTTP and not HTTPS and having basically no SSL.

Meaning anyone with bad intentions can just access the ENTIRE list to the pay portal and the credit card info.

I recommend using a temporary card as your information is not at all encrypted.

Aaand not only 5 minutes later and they Must've caught on and changed their status. I would still use a different card.

The editor probably switched to HTTP to edit the site.

If you have chrome look to see if that lock is in the top left for security if its a circle with an I it means your info is not secured and encrypted.

Since I can't find any Robert Marc 719's, I'd like to try to build up a pair to use as a placeholder. So far, I've bought four different Robert Mark aviator-style frames (717, 757, 766, and 782), with the goal of piecing together a replica. I'm having trouble, though, finding complete specs on the original frames.

Does anyone know the correct lens width (54mm?), lens height (?), and screen accurate colors (frames - dark bronze? Temple arms - ?)
Also, is there another Robert Marc frame that's similar, maybe closer than what I have currently?

Yeah, the info. on the 719's is just about nonexistent.
I couldn't find the size specs. anywhere on the frames themselves, but I think I measured mine at 55mm width, but I'll double check them tomorrow and measure the height too.

It's really good you brought this up, 'cos the 719's probably do need revisiting and reassessing, due to the lack of available info.

Looking at the IM1 scene, there's definitely copper/bronze there on the frame fronts with dark brown tortoise arms. The exact color of the plastic inside arm inserts is quite hard to see.

Frustratingly, there's no info. on how many different colorways the 719's were available in, or how many were even made.

IMHO, best guess is these 719's, with custom lenses...

Same as mine, but with different color inner arm inserts.

There is (I think), 769's and 771's too, all with slightly different aviator style shapes, but no reference pictures of them in copper/bronze.

It's a great idea to use parts of different frames to get real close.

So I've had a lens out on the 719's to measure and I'm getting 56mm width and 47mm height.
If anyone else could verify?

Or does anyone know where the size is indicated? (For instance, just recently found the frame size on the Dior's, on the right nose pad where it meets the lens, it's mega small, but it's there!).

Anyway, here's some pictures of mine for reference...

As far as the movie lenses go, I think mine are a bit too dark, but a bit closer to the outdoor scene as opposed to the indoor scene.

The lenses look light orange in this shot....

There doesn't seem to be a definitive answer on this. The scene lighting plays such a big part in how they look like 2 different colors.
If the orange is closer to movie accurate, then IMO, in person, in your hand, they probably would look more like the ambermatics in IM3.

I know the plum color on mine goes great with a wine red burgundy shirt!

Also, speaking of "placeholders", I shamelessly changed these....

into these....

Just until I can get my hands on the right color frame!
I only paid $30, mainly just for the correct brown lenses.

They'll certainly do for now! Lol.

Great information! Thank you!

Ok, so they are cheap and cheerful, but I like them, as they are a bit different.

Before ordering, I did think they might look a bit on the small side, but not at all!
IMO, a great fit at 53mm!!

Compared to the other Polaroid's for size comparison...

For the price, why not??

They'll end up discontinued and hard to find at some point right?! lol

Anyone have a list of Stan Lee's glasses? Just want to know his iconic pair over his movie ones but would love both.
