Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Anyone pre-order these?
there's a store here where I live that usually order new jacques marie mage frames, of course they know me (that's your fault a bit guys) and I asked them if I could try these with the red lenses when they'll get them in december, since I'm not that sure about the size and the color of the lenses

Nice man!
Weird, 'cos I was just going post in relation to Concept 2's....

Ok, so looking at the Garrett Leight lenses again, IMO, they are a light grey/very light brown flat color.

Looking at the end of the left lens (his perspective), it looks light grey with a slight touch of very light brown.
IMO, the overall color is derived mainly from skin tone....not too dissimilar from the Concept 2's coloration. I tried them on recently and in certain light, almost achieved the right color....the wood box even darkens down the lenses too!

Apologies, that the wooden box has somehow evolved to become my frames display stand thing! Lol.
I keep going back and forth on the color of the Garrett Leight Frames, what is the final consensus on that? I've got the charcoal and espresso pictured below.

IMO, the frames are the charcoal grey and gunmetal on the right in your pic, with the original grey/grape lenses taken out and custom lenses put in.

You could try putting the brown lenses into the grey frames to see how they look.

In the higher res. pic above, the custom lenses appear to be much lighter in a "solid" even color and not so much a "gradient" brown, as your pic seems to show.
There's always big variations in eyewear product images on websites compared to the "real thing" actually in your hand, which I always feel is slightly misleading on their part.
I would prefer them to use "real" pictures of eyewear, exactly like the pic uploads on this thread!

So the accurate ones are the charcoal... I ordered the espresso ones, literally a couple of hours before your post, probably misled by the brown stock lenses of the espresso version...

It's hard to tell on pictures but are the lenses rim the same color on both frames ?

If you want more pictures, the one featured in Infinity war is actually taken from the photocall/press conference of Spider-Man Homecoming, you can see a few other angles of RDJ wearing the Canals

I bought mine after looking at the better higher res. shot you originally posted on p.106 (Below)...

There isn't any gold that I can see, I can just see gunmetal on the bridge and arms with matt grey around the lenses.
Plus, you can just see a bit of "white" on the temple tip, there's like a marbled white/black effect, which I think is only on the charcoal/gunmetal:

Not sure if the grey lens surrounds are identical on both though.
I think the espresso versions were only really mentioned for the similarity of the brown lenses and the possibility that the lenses had been just swapped between frames (again).

Yeah, looking at the pics, it looks obvious, I didn’t think twice when I bought the gold frame though. I got a very good deal out of it so it doesn’t matter, guess I’ll just have to buy the charcoal later

I did the same thing, bought the espresso and gold first after looking at the SMHC press shots and then grabbed the charcoal after looking at higher res shots. I like the frame though, so both will get some use.

I had a lens swap done today on the Garrett Leights and I really like how it came out.

Slightly a bit away from current discussions, but going back over the 111 page thread, there hasn't been a whole lot on the Superunknown's.
Has anyone found that although the lens size & width is really excellent, the arms are a bit tight?

I rectified mine using a hairdryer (nerves of steel..lol) and a bit of heating and bending, hoping that I didn't break the arms. The fit is spot on now, but I couldn't help wonder how every frame (possibly excluding my 51mm CD 137's, which fit but...hhmmm!?!), all look and fit just fine.

Anyway, I've had mine a good while now and just incase anyone doesn't have a pair yet, (I know most do), here is some pics showing a few of the nice details.
The lenses seem light, but "magically" go significantly darker when worn.
