Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

I’m defo in for getting them, but wanna see them first! As someone pointed out earlier, the concepts in gun metal kinda sucked and looked like a spray painted grey. Also they ended up being in 2 sizes which wasn’t advertised beforehand, so when I found out I ended up with the larger silvers with the brown lenses caus they looked more like the film versions to me! I’ll reserve judgement and my money, caus at he mo they’re not even advertising a burgundy version tbf

Jason said the preorder pricing is only for the first 10 days i doubt we will see a render before that

Here's a throwback, did anyone ever get his laser protection glasses from earlier in the thread
If I remember correctly, those laser glasses were fairly pricey for what they are. As a stand alone movie prop for the collection they would be fine, but I felt IMO, it wouldn't be money well spent if I couldn't wear them outside! lol...that said, ultimate protection from idiots with laser pens!
Maybe I should look for a used pair!

Yeah, Wolfshire ID'ed them way back on page 7. Looks like the link is still active (with a different link address?) with the glasses at $139.50.
I've copied the link, to save anyone trawling back through the thread, its below with a pic:

Guys, a little help! Does anyone know how to get the lenses out of the ditas? I’m sure it’s been discussed previously! Can I just pop them out, or do they have to be unscrewed at hinges?? Thanks in advance!!

Ok great, so it’s a bit of both?? I’ve unscrewed the lense and just left with a lense in a blue case, usually I pop them in warm water to help them loosen....these are definitely a lot scarier to get out than some others

Its a similar procedure when changing lenses on the Matsudas. It requires just the right amount of force to pop 'em out. Don't go at it like the Hulk..lol, even plastic/acetate has a breaking point. Try to support the edges as much as possible with both forefingers and thumbs!
Best of luck!

I think that’s my problem at the moment, I’m probably not giving enough force, but I feel like if I give it anymore they’re gona snap in my hands! They seem really encased in the blue part too! I really thought the blue part would split in 2 when I unhinged them, so I could pop the lense in, close it back up and rescrew them...but no such luck

Yeah its very tricky. Good idea with the warm water though, it can only help. When I change lenses around I always say to myself "well if the * things went in, they must be able to come out!" Lol
If you aren't sure, take them to an optician to do it for you.

I tend to apply pressure to the larger straighter portions of the lense - e.g. not the "corners" or "tight curved" sections as these sections are usually put in first, so come out "last".

Hope this helps.

What did you put in? The brown lenses? How did you pop the lenses out i removed the screws but it just released the whole lens assembly from the frame.
