Anyone see this video yet?
Just had a look at these and after initially searching through lots of vintage gold CazaI frames ...

...Finally came to the conclusion that I think these are Ahlem Place Tokyo (58□15 145), most probably the champagne gold frame...;)

...But looking at how dark the lenses are in this picture below, the stock green lenses have been replaced with very light grey customs...

Other colours are:

White gold...

Grey gold...

These Ahlem Tokyo don't look like they are the easiest frame to come by, typical!!

In other news, the Cortlands I bought bounced off Customs for lack of paperwork so I ended up with a refund. They are in-country for Sake though.

I consoled myself with this pair of OP Jack Ones for $40!! Oddly, my wife really likes these but hated the gold/G15 ones on me. I guess the light tint makes a big difference on the impression.

More latest images (I think from shooting "Downey's Dream Cars" DDC)...

20220818_063502.jpg 20220818_063212.jpg 20220818_063044.jpg 20220818_061338.jpg 20220818_061351.jpg 20220818_061315.jpg

I had a look through most of the gold aviators out there and found a pair that seem to match up. Specifically, the green temple tips and the shape where the inner part of the frame curves in to meet the bridge and also the shape of the bridge itself.

I think these are Caddis Mabuhay in polished gold with pale green lenses (58□14 140)...;)

Awesome, thanks.

In doing the mandatory search for availability/price I noticed you had in fact id'd these on pg.133

The lenses were different on those images, the yellow does look great with matt black frame on this example.

As usual they seem pretty scarce!

No problem my friend!! (y)

Thanks for reminding me about p.133!!
I totally forgot I had the brown version OP Dbs, so it was a really nice surprise when I dug them out!! I'll have to wear them today!!

that’s definitely one of my favorite op frames, very nice and comfortable, to me even more than their companion/partner daddy b (which I have too obviously, no kidding here)

Here's one I don't think we had yet if I am not mistaken: from D23 2017...

Oliver Peoples MP-3 O0V1219S I think it is the 5063R5 color, silver and workman grey acetate, looks like it may even be stock lenses, they have a grey photochromic one. Had good luck and found a pair for $90!

I think these are probably Oliver Peoples x Berluti Rue de Sèvres OV5354SQ (54□18 145) worn again.
The frames appear to be light brown, so are probably the tobacco bisque/bourbon tortoise 1595/N6...

20220824_081931.jpg

..But this time maybe not with custom light purple lenses, but light blue to match the shirt, shorts and blue dial watch (which BTW looks to be a vintage TAG Heuer Monaco Steve McQueen CAW211)...

Frames (mentioned in previous posts) also worn here...

Also, I've just found an image where Tom Holland's orange glasses were also worn by RDJ, which now makes me want a pair!!...o_O

20220824_083823.jpg

I'll have to try to ID them!!
