Rad! Are those the oversized versions? How do the compare to the originals?
They are the oversized versions. Other than the size and now including the guitar pick temple tips they're good. The bigger size is better for my head. Oh and "British Steel" written on the inside is in different font than the original.

I got the blue ones and the red ones with custom blue lenses, I really love them. considering it's a 59 frame I expected them to be a bit larger, but the size is fine anyway.

For those who cannot get persol 2430s, we recommend Gucci GG2214K/S! If you put Tanya's lens in this sunglasses, it will fit.

I’m surprised Initium doesn’t have anything on their website or social media about these yet.

Got the cheap and cheerful Izipizi's (See Concept's) today, put some grey lenses in. They do go darker when on, but I might have to put some even darker grey in...

Well, to keep the natural order of things, there has to be something at the other end of the spectrum to JMM's!!!
I picked up a pair as well. I also got the sunglasses version so I could swap the lenses and know they will fit.
Any advice on swapping lenses in this type of frame?

Cheers
Steven

Hi,
Just pop the lenses out, carefully pressing from the back.

Here's a few quick "how to" videos (The lenses on the Izipizi's should just pop out without using any heat).

Do the lens swap on a soft towel or similar, so nothing gets marked. Wash your hands and clean the lenses first with lens cleaner (whilst still in the frames), any small particles may mark your lenses when handling/pressing down hard on them.

When the lenses are out, you might as well use the opportunity to clean the frames properly too (if they aren't brand new).
As they are just basic plastic frames, you can fully submerge them to clean them all over, like the hinges with a small soft brush and into the frame lens recess channel with cotton buds. I use a hairdryer on the cold setting to dry the frame and ensure the metal hinges or intricate parts and details are dried properly.

If you are swapping the lenses from the peppermint into the moss green, do them one at a time - the left & right lenses are quite similar and will be easy to get mixed up - you don't want to be trying to force a lens in if it's the wrong one!!

Hope this helps:D

Put some purple lenses in my OP NDG 1's, I was going to do blue, but I already have lots of blue in my collection anyway.

Was a bit sceptical about buying some OP Gregory Peck's, but instead of the smaller 45 size, opted for some 47's, the same as my Sheldrake DTBK's (my current favorites!!).

To get used to them, I wore them around the house for a bit without any lenses in and I gotta say I love 'em, which was a surprise.

They are supposed to be small, that's the style, but the best part is, especially with clear or no lenses in, IMO, they instantly visually add an extra 50 IQ to anyone!! - not that there might be anything wrong with my IQ, Lol!!...

I think they've been in lots of different movies, perhaps for that very reason!!

Anyway, opted for a lighter purple than the NDG 1's in the end...

I also had to redo my OP Rue De Sèvres, as the pinkish color was too deep, so found a closer match...

I can't get the Tanya lens, so I tried the Bon Zipper lens. In this model, the lens is a little small, but the color is pretty good?

There is nothing displayed on the temple and I do not know the model number. I also want to know!

Thought it was high time I addressed bringing my Prada VPS 53e closer to screen accurate...

I originally had grey transitions in my first pair, but when I sourced another pair, had them both re-done in light grey Rx prescription by an online Opticians - (Sending them by post was pretty tense stuff, thankfully, they didn't go missing!!).

I found a random pair of donors that looked pretty close to the really light green I was looking for, then, with Dremel in hand, went into surgery to perform the transplant...

So far, they've accepted the donor lenses and are doing well!!

Now, if I could just find a really cheap second hand Urwerk UR-105 CT Iron..Lol:D
