Not sure about the exact color code, the general consensus was that the lenses were a soft light blue (unless Tanya or Jason know exactly) - The Shawford's topic has been covered quite a few times (among lots of others, I think it was last mentioned on p.159)Has anyone been able to figure out the color code for the lenses RDJ wears at the end of Civil War? From Tanya or other sources? The frame in question is the Paul Smith Shawford seen when Tony is stepping out of the Audi R8
Mostly interested in the various jackets as well as pantsHas anyone ever ID’d the correct half-zip pullover sweater he wears in age of ultron? Or blazer from Avengers 1? Or really any screen accurate clothing pieces aside from the Sabbath or Bruce Lee t shirts lol
once again, much appreciated. I actually spent the last day reading up on posts I missed. got me thinking, there should be away to search the whole tread or index this forum somehowNot sure about the exact color code, the general consensus was that the lenses were a soft light blue (unless Tanya or Jason know exactly) - The Shawford's topic has been covered quite a few times (among lots of others, I think it was last mentioned on p.159)![]()

If anyone is interested (whilst being quite a way off topic!), the watch seen in Avengers 1, is a Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto H70565133.

Looking around for a close match, I found a cheap Seiko replica on Wish, which IMO has a moderate resemblance to the "field watch" style of the Hamilton, including the clear case back...

I sanded and painted it with grey primer, but until I can source the right grey/khaki color, it'll have to stay primered!! - I could've spent more time on it, getting a better finish and dismantling it completely and painting each individual piece, but got too impatient!!

I think in most of the lighting, the actual color looks more grey than khaki anyway!!

Gotta remember to wear it upside down though, clasp up!!![]()
Great result on the Hamilton!!I actually just got this watch after years of searching, I can confirm it’s much closer to your Seiko custom as is than the official images. The kind of coating it has gives it a weird level of depth that’s hard to photograph, but overall it’s a medium-dark stain metallic grey.
Which watch are you still trying to figure out? I may be able to help
ThaGave up looking for that jacket from Avengers 1 a long time ago!!
Sometimes just a close match is all you can hope to achieve when you can't source or ID the originals. Little modifications to clothing though, can help too, like this modded sewn in zip collar or added ring pull zipper...

I've modded things like sleeve zippers into my IM3 hoodie and on the "inside" legs of my Civil War cargo trousers and try to make my own t-shirts where possible.
Finding close matches within standard mainstream fashion is a little bit more demanding than ID'ing and finding eyewear, as you have to be able to describe the items in "clothing speak", in order to effectively search and find them within thousands of clothing items.
This style of shirt for instance, from Civil War, is a "tipped henley polo" a description I eventually narrowed down through trial and error to find what I was looking for...

Incidentally, I think I've finally managed to ID the watch in that Avengers scene, I'm fairly sure it's a Porsche Design Worldtimer P'6750 13.44.1180

I've ID'ed all of the IM watches apart from one, plus have close matches to nearly every outfit.
It's taken years to accumulate the "wardrobe" as well as the eyewear. I guess it's just a case of endless searching.
I'm sorry I can't be of more help, as the clothing I've bought over the years ends up discontinued and unavailable, just like the eyewear!!
Happy hunting for "wardrobe close matches" if you can't find originals!! lol![]()
thank you for Your help! Could you possibly dm me pictures of some of the pieces you’ve described that you’ve made as “close enough” stuff so I can A. Possibly have some more details I could use to maybe hunt down the originals and B. Be inspired to make my own adjustments?Gave up looking for that jacket from Avengers 1 a long time ago!!

It would be a bit easier if you named a specific outfit, then if I've got a close match I could send you a picture.Tha

I can't seem to find a better quality close up image...

Thanks in advance man for the assist![]()
Wow!!Working on that one next! Besides the silver Buglari when he's working on the '32 Ford in IM1, the rest of his collection is out of my price range for a long while lolol
That one took a while, it's actually the same watch he wears when washing dishes and looks at the photo of Peter. There's a dead giveaway where you see a shot that shows a light reflection of 10 screw posts in the bezel. It looks like it's a Niall One.2, a now out-of-business American watch company that Paul Rudd wore for a while (which I read somewhere he gave friends some so maybe that's how RDJ ended up wearing one on screen). I can't entirely tell if it's a Niall One or a One.2 the bezel looks closer to a One.2 with a less octagonal shape. With criticism of the original looking like a knock-off of the famous Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore, I can't say I blame them for changing it up a bit.

luckily because it's definitely inspired by a famous design there's some solid look alikes around. My fav so far is the G-shock GA2100-1A1 which people are lovingly calling the "Casioak" due to it's resemblancebut it's cheap, low maintenance and most importantly you can get mod kits to make it look even more like a Royal Oak so it'll have the lugs on the bezel.
