Yeah, you have to have a really big sense of humor and total social unawareness to wear the 69's!! Lol.Well I don't think it's gonna be easy to get a size for the Porsches as they're on screen for a split second and they come in like 4 sizes.
But according to UV (I think ?), they're ridiculously large in 69mm, so maybe go smaller
So, at a guess, what would you say they movie versions are?...(just trying to get a concensus to generate a definitive answer for the threads IM list!).The thing to keep in mind with the Porsche Designs is that while the lenses are huge even at the smallest size, the bridge is very narrow at 10mm, the 3000's have a 16mm bridge. So if you consider the whole width of the lense and frame (give a couple extra mm for the arms) the 63mm PDs and the 3000s are the same overall width. So if you want them a little smaller than the 3000s go for the 60mm, same size 63mm, bigger 66mm. I wouldn't even entertain 69mms at your head size, they seem to be meant more for that celebutante style like the Kardashians, or dudes with big heads like me (but even I only wear the 66mms LOL). Hope this helped with visualizing
I know there's probably a "definite" confirmed shape out there somewhere and maybe Jason got the exact shape from Tanya or whoever made them for the production...
My team is working on an infographic title sequence for my documentary and I want to make sure we have our facts straight. This is the lineup as best we've been able to research it. Let me know if there's anything wrong in here.
One point of contention currently: after dissecting the scene with Jason, we're pretty convinced that the London Callings got swapped on set, with the black used at the party and in the elevator, but the tort used in the hotel room. Both were on set. Because of this, we have both listed for IM3 for that scene.
Once this is nailed down we'll be making a poster version available for anyone interested.
It's the red havana in both scenes. I've blasted the brightness up in photoshop to show it from the two separate scenes. Tony has not worn any London Calling besides the red havanas. My guess is it's probably a personal pair of RDJs that he brought on set. The "tortoise" look is the havana coming through. The frames are translucent red layered on top of the havana base with a cutout on the arm.
Strathmores are also Workman's Grey.
That poster is awesome, great work!!My team is working on an infographic title sequence for my documentary and I want to make sure we have our facts straight. This is the lineup as best we've been able to research it. Let me know if there's anything wrong in here.
