Every screen unlicensed screen accurate helmet is a Recast - that was the whole point of the thread.
Are zorg's C3PO helmets recasts?
Yes.
Why is it okay to recast certain manufacturers helmets and not others?
I didn't make the helmet or cast any parts of it - if my friend ever decides to become a member of the RPF you can ask him where it comes from but I can tell you my friends TIE helmet is not a copy of an SDS as I've stated on many occasions.
If it were it wouldn't look as good or accurate as it does.
To a point you're correct that "everything is recast" although IMO there's a world of difference between (say) TE getting an original Stormtrooper helmet and recasting it, and someone else merely buy a TE and recasting it.
I presume from your response that you (and your friend) don't see a difference, and that his TIE is recast - just not from an SDS
btw if you believe your mates TIE is more accurate than the SDS then put up some decent comparisons - it'd make an interesting thread
Cheers
