I previously did a blaster sketch based on the first episode we see Cad Bane. Here's his blaster updated w more info from these images! Lengthened the barrel, increased the scope size, added the little bolt thingy at the butt and the two metal grooves through the wood.

Very nice rendering Barrel should be hexagonal not round

Boots seems like this kind of style with a few mods: no down strap going from the ring to the sole. Production added steel toe.

Look closer, its Octagonal, 8 sides, which wasnt uncommon on the period pistols used as inspiration for Bane's blasters.

Octagonal barrels are easy to make from rectangular blanks. Hexagonal barrels aren't. An actual hexagonal barrel profile would be really uncommon, I think.

Also, glad I'm caught up on the show so I can safely read this thread again.

I'm sure based off your sketch you did some research and already know, but for those of us that don't, the blaster is likely based off of a Colt Navy 1851 revolver.

Oh interesting. I kind of assumed it was straight prosthetic. Can’t wait to see behind the scenes for this stuff
