buy turtles mask from someone.... advice

hi,
i dont mean this to sound so un-trusting and i mean absolutely NO disrespect to Mark for saying this.
but I am buy a mask for $300 +P&P from him and i just need to know if he's genuine ......has anyone had any dealings with him (Mark Da Silva) or know the pics are actually his
any advise? i just dont want to get scammed as that $300 is a hell of a lot to me

It's not much advice to give, but if you pay through paypal, you've got the buyer's protection on your side... so if anything shady does happen, you can always file a claim. I can't say I know the guy you're talking about, nor anything about the photos, but PayPal is usually pretty good about making sure things go smoothly.

thanks for the reply, is their buyer protection even though it aint gone via shop/ ebay etc?

Be careful of this - if PayPal views the item you are purchasing as a "custom item", they will not provide you with buyer protection. Be sure to read the fine print on their site before assuming that all purchases made through them are covered.
