Building the Sandcrawler

Thanks for your kind word Friends~! :)

The SC shape is more simple working compare to PD, Avenger and DS IMO
In sipte of above, it is honor to be compare with them (Lee, Julien and PH)...

thanks Eric.

There are a few builds here that go above and beyond the call and this is definitely one of them. Those headlights are an amazing piece of work and the attention to detail overall is staggering. Between this, the Probe Droid, the 8ft SD and that never ending Death Star build I really do wonder what Mr G. Lucas would say if he saw them.

Thanks for your kind word! Nugget :)

Currently, I'm applying the light up to my SC.
A few days later, I will post the new pics w/ the light effect.

thanks Eric.

I added some light up effect on my SC...

The light is still shown as warm-yellow in several reference pics (SW Chrolnicles).
But I just used white LED to apply the light effect...because...
Actually, I believe that yellowish is affected from Studio's illuminations and interior.

thanks Eric.

Hey Buddy,

Thanks for your praise.

I just think Julien and You are really ILM modeler...because you guys' modeling skill is topnotch and identification of the kit part as well.

Actually, I have no good painting skill...But You, Julien, Allan, Guy and Jason's painting skill can be compared with ILM's work...:thumbsup

thanks Eric.

Absolutely gorgeous work ckwanwoo!:thumbsup

This is my favorite stage of the model build process, where all of the parts are still unpainted, creating a mosaic of sorts.

Looking forward to seeing the paint and seeing it moving under it's own power!

Thanks for your kind words~ Stormy, Scott :)

BTW, I absolutely need your help to identify some part...
Firstly, I thought it was used from hasegawa jet engine but not matched exactly...
It seems to be made by same part which was superimposed in reverse.

Please help me for ID... if you have any idea?

thanks Eric.

Love viewing your work. Stunning!
