Building The Death Star - PRODUCTION

If it's complete on the back side, fully detailed and not open then it's the DS 2 built for Planet Hollywood. Funny thing, I actually saw them building that model when I won a contest to tour ILM back in the early 90's.

Just stunning - this is such a fantastic work of art!

Someday. Someday I've got to attempt to build this. Very inspiring!

I'm only new to this forum and a thread 10 years old has just blown my mind. MAN THOSE PICS ARE OUTSTANDING. Incredible piece. Now to read all 61 pages...
 
So glad you stuck with this... truly inspiring and an amazing work of art! The lights just bring it all together. Fantastic.
