Once the lines go on, nobody will see the black spots anymore. It will look like it is just another design element.

Actually... It was sort of a nod to the fact that I am refining the texture as I go along!

I know but I sort of like the varying textures as it's what you'd expect if staring at a real cityscape at that distance. No two would appear the same. some "blocks" more dense, some less, some lighter, some darker. I still think the lines will so distract you from the actual dots of texture that it won't matter what the density is. It's too pretty Rob.
