I wouldn't know where to start and I have most all the parts set up in Illustrator and the templates still there from the first one so should be a pretty quick process to knock another one out when I can get some time.

Finally got the second cannon done after weeks plodding at it. It's nowhere near as enjoyable remaking something you've already done though at least you don't end up scrapping idea after idea when they don't work. Anyway, it's done bar a small bit of detailing on the side of the body. Managed to lose the smaller collet for the Dremel so couldn't use the small enghraving bit. Got a spare one ordered opf FLeabay which should arrive tomorrow, 15 minutes should finish it.

Next onto the shins! Need to think these through as they are going to need some way of coming in two.

Will have a stab at a neck ring after I get them done. GOt a huge reel of black neoprene free from work which if planned properly, I should be able to make up into a fitted wolf style ring. Hopefully it will work and I can get a template up here. Well that's the plan anyway... :)

Cheers all. Need some suggestions for another piece as I'm somewhat stumped. Took a walk round B&Q this afternoon (Home Depot) looking for something with a ball and socket joint but found nothing. I want to make the arms that join the cannons to the backplate with a ball and socket joint at both ends so I can position them how I want and also so that when some tube inevitably hits them, they won't run the risk of being damaged.

Anyone got any idea where I can get cheap joints so to speak or even suggest a better method?

Any help appreciated.

OOOOOOO....I see twins!! Now for the templates for this puppy!! LOL

AWESOME work, loving this topic each time you post those pics!!

I completely missed this thread. As stated before...you are the foam master!. Great work and use of materials. Cheers man!

how much have you spent on the plastic so far? if you dont mind me asking

I bought one 8x4 sheet of 3mm foamex which cost £15 (about $19) and I will probably have enough to get the shins and other odds and ends from it. Cheap as chips my friend.

Very little done in the last few weeks, snowed under with other work and commitments. Finally bit the bullet and tackled the shins. I hate this part as they are the hardest part to mould and have no straight lines anywhere to work off. My legs aren't totally straight so I can't work off a tube or anything similar. I've only one done so far and I'm not overly fussed about it but it will have to do.

Started making dummys of my legs then added football shinguards to give extra bulk.

Next I cut a top and bottom piece and just marked and cut away at them until they fitted the leg as best I could manage.

Not many pictures of how I did the rest but basically it was just another 2 wings of Foamex stuck to the front then everything Dremel'd to add relief and some detailing. I've left the lower part open at the back so I can actually get them on. I'll have to fashion something to cover this up. Same applies for the thinned section above the calf muscle. No More Nails was used to fill any gaping joins and will need sanded down when it sets. Pretty crap looking compared to how some of the other pieces have come out but who looks at your shins anyway...

Next things are getting the left leg knocked up and making a start on Lee's Wolf mask.
