BRRogers / Verity Cosplay / 7 Chambers - "MoM of All Heroes"

I don't know why he installed it before the helper board came, but whatevs. Speaking of which, what's the ETA on that?

To be fair, for his chassis to include a box solution provides functionality beyond the helper board. There's a lot of benefit to that for a selective install (for instance an older soundboard or simpler install would be able to take advantage of that).
If the helper ever failed (hopefully not for many years) it also provides an additional solution that could be assembled with readymade parts which is re-assuring as a backup for our design.

The amount of love and attention to detail on this project is amazing to see. I just purchased the elite kit and am very excited to get my hands on it.

I saw that someone suggested ren wax on the rails on the control box. Is that a good plan? Ide rather not use lacquer due to it flaking at some point.

Gotcha. I may whip up one myself. Any idea when those boards will be sent out?

This is good timing as I'd been hankering for a nice Hero ROTJ saber. Just ordered a standard kit! The elite was sold out but I think it's beyond what I need anyways!

once my patina is where I want it, I plan to use Renn wax as the air barrier for mine to halt further patina. If it is good enough for the British museum and countless others it's good enough for my MoM.

Any news on the machined crystal chamber run? So excited about this project, you guys have really knocked it out the park! Caught on fairly late but got my order in and should have my hilt in a couple of weeks

Man that is an outstanding job. Great video. Here are some comparison pics of my standard MoM kit and the Lukyanov Creepy Uncle. I have not altered either since received.

Those pics really emphasize the differences in the emitter section, wow. I gotta say, I prefer the proportions on the ROTJ saber, but Lukyanov's rendition of the Creepy Uncle is excellent too.

Relevant for MoM owners:

Is there a recommended chassis best suited to the MoM of All Heroes Crystal Chamber?

The CC chamber looks stunning!

On a separate topic has anybody been able to replicate the rusty effect on the triring? Tried the peroxide, salt and vinegar combo, worked nicely on DaveP's mild steel ring but not on the MoM ring... BRRogers Assuming the ring is stainless steel then?
