I just started an interest thread in the Junkyard.

I would do a run of FOP but I can't find the right tin. Perhaps that isn't a problem, but I would like to get it as close to the original as possible. It should be around 3" diameter with a slightly domed lid. If anybody finds something like this then please speak up. I have found the perfect shape on a tin of sweets but it's almost twice as big as we need, but candy might be an idea of where to look.

Failing that, I could do a run on a flat tin. Thought? :confused

I dont think the flat tins would be that big of a deal, especially if they keep the cost down and are easier to locate for you

I think if the sticker is more accurate than previous tins that will make up for the flatter tin...??

It seems that some of the Kapow run tins are arriving with those who ordered them. However, please note, if you missed that run, or if you want a different take on the prop, please look at the thread in the junkyard. If a couple more people sign up then we shall be doing a very short run of accurate tins.

I got a good screen cap by just googleing dapper dan and setting google to image.

Yes, I really must get these all assembled and up for sale. The box the tins are in is under my desk and ( as others might vouch) I keep kicking it!
