Borderlands Pestilent Defiler

Hey guys, I'm starting to work at creating my fav gun from borderlands. I have pretty good images to go off. I was wondering if I could get some ideas of parts and things like that that I could find.

You might be able to start with an airsoft revolver as the base. Remove the cylinder and add the right greeblies. The barrel reminds me of one from a semi-auto. For the lighted sections, maybe some translucent acrylic with LEDs to make them light up nice and bright. This one looks like it'll be a lot of fun
