BOOKS that have made you cry

As a kid, I'd say Where the Red Fern Grows. Since having a dog as an adult, which we had to put to sleep last Jan., I'd probably full on cry after reading it.

As and adult, the only book I can remember making me teary eyed is the Star Wars Wraith Squadron book (forgot the exact one) where

I can remember reading Where the Red Fern Grows. I'm pretty sure I lost it at some point along the way, but it's been too long for me to remember. It was a very depressing book.

The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. This does tie in to the movie thread. Yeah, there were waterworks for the book too. Same for Dawn Treader. C.S. Lewis was a very gifted author.

Most of the other books I read don't really lend themselves to the waterworks.

The last gunslinger book by stephen king is the only book I cried reading. I also wanted to send hate mail about how much of that book went down. I read those books since the series started when I was in high school and I felt screwed on how Flagg ended up, how the big baddie was a waste and what the tower ended up being.
