I realize theres not a huge amount to go on right now, but maybe theres some idea of what was used for Cad Banes live action blaster pistol?
Does it not have a trigger? Or had it been removed from this one?I'm thinking maybe a heavily modified Colt Paterson with loading lever:

With new cylinder, blunderbuss end, and new grips. The flare at the end of the metal there between the grips seem to match. But the best indicator is the missing trigger guard.
The way I understand how that works is that it pops out when you pull the hammer back.Does it not have a trigger? Or had it been removed from this one?
Ooooh fancyThe way I understand how that works is that it pops out when you pull the hammer back.
And extremely dangerous. HahaOoooh fancy
Yeah well, there’s a reason that design hasn’t caught on hahaAnd extremely dangerous. Haha
First I’ve ever saw of that! Wicked coolThe way I understand how that works is that it pops out when you pull the hammer back.
I mean they set up Boba Fett and Cobb Vanth in S1 of Mando and didn’t mention them again until much later. Clearly they are still making long term plays hereKind of cool to see the character live action... I really hope he'll have a part in episode 7. He may not though, like so many things they might just be setting him up for a future appearance somewhere else.
Of course, too slow to fire for our character. You gotta have a "normal" trigger to shoot fastYeah it had a folding trigger, stowed out of the way until the gun was ******. There were other subsequent pistols that have had this feature over the years but the Colt Paterson is significant because it was the first cartridge revolver ever offered. I will say it's a bit too on the nose for me for him to literally use a revolver inspired blaster (we get it, he's cowboy themed lol) but it's cool nevertheless that they chose the Colt Paterson as the base, if that's what it is.
googling now, thank you!His is definitely a 1851 Navy revolver style. It has the locking tab right under the muzzle that locks the loading lever in place
i agree with ya, i really like it. i imagine he has a duplicate on the other leg..Yeah, the more I look at it, the more it looks like an 1851 without a trigger guard. But I think it looks like a scratch build that is modeled after an 1851 Navy.
