I think it is a Colt Navy with the trigger guard removed (and apparently, also the cylinder removed, in addition to a couple of other minor mods. You can buy non Firing replicas for about $100. Would make a neat project!

Yup. European proof marks, so very likely to be an Italian replica. Probably an Uberti, as Pietta guns have markings on the barrel that would require more work to sand.

Yes, I agree. I actually like to leave markings on blasters I build . In fact, I'm going to buy one of these and build it. Now my interest is piqued. Wonder what the scope is?
