Many Thanks for all your support & kind words folks

I've been taking a break from Bob lately to catch up on other things.
I need to get my finger out & get on with him again.

My next move will be to build a support structure for the main body section, then I can start building the structure's that will support the partition's for the mould (lots of woodwork).

I'll document as much as I can through the moulding/casting process but there may be pauses in the updates from time to time.

I'd have done that with five recycled bricks and some wet newspaper. And it would suck. :lol

This part really is awkward to support! It only has 4 hard area's that will take the weight & only one of those wont have any rubber going onto it for the first part mould. It also has to be fairly sturdy but I didn't want to over complicate it

Here's where I'm going with the supporting structure for the partition, it's quite sturdy & all slot's together. Over this I can build the partition out of what ever is suitable adding key's etc

If you can see me going wrong here or forgetting something important please say so

Wow... Just wow. I just read through all 48 pages of this thread and it was totally worth it!

A few times I was tempted to skip to page 45, but watching your progress was every bit as good as your (nearly) finished piece!

Kudos to you my friend. Well done!

Can't wait to see how the dome looks. I know you'll nail it.

That's just too cool workmanship for the preparation of molding the piece. WOW.

And once done, you can use that structure for a diorama or a bust support shape.

Talk about going all out in all aspects of creating this.
