Yes! My god, I've never seen that before. Is it an option, or a prototype/mock-up?

Not that I have the money for it either way, but I really favor it over the traditional colors.

That version was the prototype model from the very first run. They were testing first pass parts and the overall finish but it wasn't intended to be a final version.

Personally, I would LOVE to acquire one that looked like this...…

With the new assembly kit wouldn't that almost be an option?
I think you just need to find a set of clear grips.

I'm struggling with the translated blog posts. Anyone know what parts need to be painted before assembly? Will the upper receiver be 'weathered' like the WorCon version? gotta know for sure before shipping that kinda coin overseas.

It's a kit - I would expect that you paint anything which needs to be painted, and do your own weathering. At any rate I hope so.

This looks like quite a beauty. Im in for a kit. Is the metal parts they use soft metal or a nice hard metal? My only complaint with my old Sidkit was it was a softer metal. Great piece but my only con about it.

From the photos on the blog they look like cast aluminum or zink or something.

Frame: die cast
Drum: die cast

Hmm. Plastic frame is ok since most of it is hidden, but an ABS barrel is likely to need a bit of love to look good. I got a message the other day from them confirming that they will be getting the kits in at the beginning of April.

I agree. A metal Barrel would be perfect for this great kit.
