A black rubber Blaster is coming from Tomenosuke - Syoten.
I've once again been asked to help with the artwork for the packaging. This bagged in a plastic bag, with a cardboard topper.

I'm just thrilled to be a part of all his :D

Meanwhile my Blaster Pro Assembly kit is still lingering at Danish customs :(

Seeing as they're selling them in a plastic bag with a header card, I can't imagine it would run you as much as the regular PRO replica. :D

Can't wait to see some pics of this. Will be interesting to see what they do about the grips.

If anyone comes up with details on when, where, and how much, please post! Be nice to have, for an affordable price!

Also anxious to see if it's one solid rubber piece or a kit to be glued together.

Rats...I was hoping for a rubber replica that matched the rubber stunt props: black rubber body with amber resin grips.

Some did, at least:

From studying these, I think there are at least two different guns shown in these photos. I'm not saying that all of the stunt props used amber grips, just that there are some that used them. I liked the one I saw at the Museum of Science Fiction in Seattle a lot and was hoping to see one like that made. Nothing wrong with the all-black one--I'll bet that's what all the police officers carried, and I'll be getting it myself, depending on the price. Thanks for the link, too, by the way! And the box art looks great!

Very interesting photos of the test pull. I see the grips are missing in this case. And it looks like a metal sight rod too. The casting and cripsness of detail is amazing. Exactly what I'd expect from Team Tomenosuke. And your artwork too, Staermose.

I just noticed they used the "police variant" details. Including the flat butt plate and the Styer mag housing with no led's. Oops. Just like shown on the box art. So much for a stunning discovery. It will make a nice addition next to my built kit.

I'm eager to see the finished piece.

Ted.
