I'm holding out for hope as well. As far as runs go, I've not been impressed by the communication. I'm not happy that Brandon wouldn't tell me how far along he is.
This forum is intended for interest gauging and active runs. Due to the transient nature of this forum, please keep all research and ongoing discussion in one of our main forums so your information is not lost.

I am wondering why some many long standing members are selling their spots for this run.
Especially since the blaster construction is supposed to be almost complete.
What's going on here guys?
Do you think that this run will never be completed and are you trying to cover your bases by selling your spots?

It's been a long haul that is for sure. However Brandon has shown alot of the work he has done. He showed the stacks and stacks of pewter ingots he bought for this as well as most of his mold-making and pouring the various parts. My assumption is that he is done pouring the parts, ran into some problems printing the resin 'grill inserts' and getting the circuit back from China has been slow. I do believe, based on what I see, that he honestly has intentions of completing this project. We have no other option than to be supportive. Doing the carbon-fiber grips is NOT an easy task. It will require practice and he probably will not start on the real grips until he is able to be sure they can come out perfect. It would not be easy to remove and re-do that step.
There is another run - metal EE3 blasters that is also very delinquent. Joining these runs always involves some "risk." My suggestion to anyone who is paying by Paypal, that is get confirmation that you can receive delivery of the finished project within 6 months. Outside of that, one has no Paypal claim. The deposit, the money, the prop, is lost.
For my part, I think Brandon is an honest and talented guy. His mold making abilities are stellar. These things are not that easy to do. He ruined his kitchen pouring our pewter parts for this run. In the end, I think he probably will lose money on the whole thing. For my part, I am completely behind him and his efforts.
On the good side, if he is home (he should be), and healthy (I pray that he and everyone is) then he should be able to make good progress on shining up the pewter parts and working on the grips while he waits for the circuits from China. The one question I have is- what is the size of this run? Does anyone know? I can't seem to find an organized sign up list like for some other runs.
Keep safe everyone!!
