I’ll have photos and videos of the molds and casts towards the end of the week. Right now, everything is partially submerged in various states of seperation. The Silpak needs 24 hours to cure before i move on to the next step.

In the meantime, i’m working with an engineer to design my electronics circuit. It will have a timer after pressing the ON button of 1 minute that will activate the Leds and trigger, then turn off if there are no trigger pulls. This is to prolong battery life.

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the delay, I had to do a quick gig for the Deadly Class Prop department that ended up taking a touch longer than anticipated.

Here is our current update..

I'm waiting on the prints of the barrel sections and grip to be delivered to me, but several of the other components are waiting for the final pour to complete.

this is what is currently sitting in silicone.. (pardon the mess)

That seems challanging to me. As always, I prefer quality above speed, so for my part: take your time to make the best out of this! I love the regular updates...

I have to agree speed equals problems, defects and in the end those who wanted it quickly are the first to complain about problems. Since this will be one that is a working project with moving parts etc. Quality control and assurance overrides speed every time. My opinion, but i have seen how things rushed normally just don't pan out.

If you guys are ok with it, then i will continue at current pace.

I’m currently working on my latest video with multiple stages of the molding process. This will be the most in-depth video i’ve done to date. I’ve done about 80% of the molds so far. Most of them are 3-parts so they take longer, especially if there are any quality issues i need to tend to. I’ll be posting everything as soon as possible.

I am quite happy with the current rate of work and the continuous updates that you release. I have noted that many projects start out good and work out just great. However, i have also seen some really cool projects fall through and hardly any kind of communications to people who invested in projects only for it to take forever or never get off the ground. I am cool with it ultimately i want a kickass piece made with patience and quality.

My video is almost done being shot, i will then have to edit. I promised the wife i’d take some time off for christmas then pick it up again on the 27th.

The trigger has been molded, and turned out beautifully. I’m going to cast some tonight.

Just as others have stated, I'm in no hurry. As a prop builder myself, you cant be in a rush if you want quality work. Once we have that blaster in our hands it will all be worth it. Cant wait to see more pics.
