Cannot believe I am just now finding out about this. The Amazon pre-order is already sold out...
Oh man this is some good stuff, fascinating! I want his job. Badly.
I haven’t rewatched, but it looks pretty darn close to the 3d scan from Lucasfilm. Nice of them to point out the stuff they changed! Thanks for posting this.

I'm willing to sacrifice some accuracy for something I don't have to handle with white gloves. I'm not knocking anyone that likes the highly accurate replicas. I would have a melt down if I took out props for a costume party and they some how got damaged.

I hope they align it better in the final product. Just like all their helmets, this is going to be multiple sections screwed together. It looks like it's going to be 3 main sections: the face plate and two back halves. The ears and mohawk cover up the seamlines. I would expect a notable seamline along the brow like the Fett helmet.

Maybe I missed something, but is there any evidence on that it looks too large, aside from the video of the sculpter actually putting it on? The sculpter could be 5'3 for all we know. Boba's is pretty much 1:1, Vader's was shrunk, Stormtroopers are pretty much 1:1 and aren't the X-wing pilot helmets close to 1:1? Has there been an instance of a BS helmet actually increasing in size? I can't think of any justification why they make it larger.

Looks like the Hasbro website still has it available, I was able to add it to my shopping cart without any issues

How can you see that from pictures and one video ?
This is the same individual whos handled the other black series helmets in previous videos. I'm also comparing it to the fact that I have the efx Mandalorian, the hasbro black series Fett, and a hero casted Fett helmet. It appears big.
Best Buy is where I've gotten all of mine. They're still up for pre-order there.
Thats right.The Mando helmet is really small next to an ESB Boba Fett helmet.
I'm very pleased with my BS Luke helmet and I've owned the EFX before. It is accurate enough for me.
My brother also has the BS Boba Fett and it isn't THAT much different for him, comparing to the EFX.
At the lower cost, it really does work great for display!
I'm hoping the Mandalorian is the same case!

The EFX Boba is another level next to the BS.Shape,color,a lot more detailed Scratches,correct visor and metal ears+rangefinder.
Has your brother ever seen this 2 helmets together?
The BS Boba is an awesome helmet for the price(I also have one)...but to say its close to the EFX is not the truth.
