I wonder how they got the shape and if it has anything close to linage like they did with the boba and changed it slightly..

Well, the visor seems different from the original IMO, a bit larger (where the horizontal and vertical lines meet)

I watched the the vid (and watched many friends get excited about it...) The box he pulls it from says EFX. I would kill for a $30 EFX Mando.

Though I think you have to pay immediately upon order at Target. The other places you don't pay until it's ready to ship.

Anytime I've pre-ordered from Target I've been charged when it ships.

It’s not very accurate, but it is a very reasonable offering from Hasbro. I’m sure a lot of folks will be very happy with this out of the box, and those that aren’t can attempt a repaint.
If I ever catch one on sale I wouldn’t mind turning one into a “background” Mandalorian helmet.

Got my pre-order in at Target. Couldn't pass up that 25% discount and free shipping. Seriously can't wait for this. I've been wanting one of these, but wasn't interested in one of the licensed ones due to all their issues. Until I find a really great fan made helmet this will do nicely.

I'm curious on the accuracy. Boba's BS helmet was 'corrected' to eliminate the wavy brow/asymmetricalness and also was given a slightly bigger t-visor portion, however the Mando's doesn't appear to have any 'wavy' brow that that Boba's does, so I'm wondering how close it will be. The promo photos appear to be taken very close which may have added some lens distortion, i could take a photo of the latest Boba helmet from RSProps and super close it will appear distorted and not accurate, so I wonder how this BS Mando helmet will look when we get more photos of it taken further away, and if the accuracy will look any better
I'm no expert but comparing the Black Series against original helmets:
-The ears look a bit thick at the front edge on the Hasbro version (are these separate pieces? Easy fix if so).
-The central band on the "mohawk" is too long in the front, ending at the brow line instead of just above it, and instead of being represented by a groove, the band is a raised piece, giving it a too-wide appearance.
- Hard to tell due to the angle of the photo but those key slots in back look like they may be fairly flat rather than staggered/angled like a vent (mentioned previously in the thread)**
Looks pretty good otherwise..? What'd I miss?
**Edit: Third point is no concern - the video linked in post #44 shows the slots in the back are properly angled.
