I pre-ordered mine through BBTS and i was notified over a week ago it was in stock and shipping early. I have no intention of paying Hasbro Pulses non-member shipping, but i found them on BBTS for free ship so i jumped on that one, and also backup ordered on Amazon in case one shipped early and the other was delayed. Amazon still says shipping March 4.
I also looked at Entertainment Earth which usually sells out about as fast as Hasbro Pulse and also generally offers free shipping with a code, but tends to ship later. It appears EE is not sold out though.. possibly because of their usual delay.

There should be a weld line above the visor. The box shows a rust line but the helmet in the box doesn't have one. When i add some weathering to mine ill add in the weld or at least the rust line. It would be interesting to check the amazon one to see if there are any differences to them... not sure there would be but you never know.

I've considered buying a second helmet for myself. If I do, I've seen really realistic welds done using a hot glue gun. Once I get it in hand, I'll see how bad the missing detail bothers me.

thats a good idea.. hot glue weld would be perfect for this area. and a little chrome powder to finish it off and then some rust weathering.
i might have to play with that tonight. the detail doesnt bother me too much.. its not like its super noticeable, but its odd that the box shows the weld but the actual helmet doesnt have it. So perhaps it was expected but not done in production. i will be interested in seeing if other helmets are missing it also, or if this was just an inspection lapse.
for a toy.. its a great looking helmet, regardless.

Even with the missing weld on the brow, it's still a very nice helmet for a Black Series.

On the image above shown foe reference, it doesn’t look like a weld like the others, it simply looks like a seam with weathering which seems to be consistent with the Black Series replica.
