seriously i was just saying, whys everyone gotta make judgements was that really going to help in any way on this thread. just drop it and we can continue with our making or contributing?

Screen grab one or make one in Photoshop, print it out on sticker paper/vinyl and apply to the finished product. Should be fairly easy, I'm sure if you ask nicely someone will do the labels and share them.

Thank you Zodiac. It is what it is. Not only am I "seasoned" Im also one of the most generous free hearted members here and I have gone out of my way to help so many people in so many ways. Even with that said, I am still willing to help you in any way you need. One very obvious thing I would suggest before its too mate for you is to increase the bottle hole size for the cork. IF your clay shrinks it will not fit. IF you clay does not shrink, plan on it doing so after molding and casting. I will post measurements and reference after I get home to help you get the scale more proportional. I would hate to see you spend so much time in the bottle and end up with something that could have been better with just a few simple measurements.

ok, thanks im sorry if i came across offensive and i know i have no right to tellyou what to post! anyway i was going to make a silicone mould and then make a resin one as the clay is VERY heavy and fragile! oh yeah also i dont mean to use it as a bottle just a replica

these are the final moulds of the clay version before i wait for it to set and order some silicone to make a resin version so it is less heavy and fragile!

I would suggest doing a little more smoothing out on the bottle. A method that I like to use for very smooth cast results is to first spray many thin layers of primer onto the piece making sure to allow at least 10 minutes between coats. After all has dried, pick up some very fine grit sand paper ( or what I like to use is a 4 stage finger nail file which has a polishing pad also) polish out the primer and check for any bumps or signs of unevenness. After you are completely happy with the finish apple at least 2-3 light coats of gloss clear coat and once again check for unevenness. Finally before molding the sculpt, be sure to apply release agent on the entire piece and wipe it down to get it very nice and glassy.
Remember, with molding, you get out exactly what you put in. Going the extra mile and spending a little more time will result in much less work and frustration later on down the line.

If I were to do your vigor myself,
I would rotocast transparent bought right off the shelf.
So pay attention mixing parts A and B. Too much hardener will result in much tra-ge-dy.
too much hardener it will warp from the rapid heat and shrinking.
So before you have the bottle to hold, be sure you commit to thinking.
Im doing mine clear red as a simple bottle topper
With a demon head, secured with a stopper.

*specifically castin crafts clear with green dye tint form any hobby store,
after that you can paint the inside of the bottle by swishing around paint thats watered down.
Depending on the lighting youre going for,
you can wash with dark or light,
just dont drop it on the floor.
Of course I would suggest buying higher quality supplies from smooth on but if budget or availability is an issue, castin crafts clear works just fine BUT it is the most sensitive resin Ive ever worked with. Temperature and moisture can make or break a cast.

I've prepped the Undertow bottle for 3D printing, here's the .stl. This one has WAY more triangles due to all the smoothing going on. I'd love to hear from anyone that wants to print either Shock Jockey or Undertow. In the meantime I'm going to start on Charge I think

ok ill use your advice but i will wait for it to dry so the clay does not get all sticky or somthing, unless it is better to give it the glossy coat now?

@FateLazarus I use Blender. Here's my .blend file if you want to check it out. You'll see that I'm not a great modeller, but I use a lot of mesh modifiers to shape things out.

I'm not sure if they've released an SDK or not, but another option for the bottles would be extracting them from the game if you have it on PC.

Thanks for the info! I started teaching myself Blender about a week ago so I am glad to hear that I am on the right track. Your work is awesome and it really helps to get a peek into how you have been modeling your Vigors. I still have a long way to go but I would love to get serious about modeling and subsequently 3D printing.

Nuke, yes, be sure to let the clay dry completely. What is that youre using, WED clay?
Either way, yes make sure it is dry. Otherwise anything else sprayed onto it will not cure/dry.
Thank you Paddy, I actually can use all ref I can get. I dont have it on my computer but my buddy did ( but wasnt here for me to take screens) I had to go to youtube and watch a walkthrough and crank it up to the highest definition I could find. Have we all come to a general consensus as to how big the diameter of the logo stamps on all bottles?

Has anyone found any good bottles for undertow? I have been trying to get formulator with modeling clay. Also, besides 3d printing, anyone have any ideas for the bottle top? I am either looking for the glass look like in the concept art or the metallic look like in the game. I am not sure modeling clay will work for the top.

I am making a cast of my charge vigor and i could sell you an unpainted white resin one fresh out the cast? there are pictures of the clay model for the mould to be shaped around on page 3
