Bioshock infinite Vigor bottles

I am making a cast of my charge vigor and i could sell you an unpainted white resin one fresh out the cast? there are pictures of the clay model for the mould to be shaped around on page 3 :)
Dude, If you sold casts like that in the junkyard, the people over at the irrational games forums would go NUTS. That's all they can talk about over there is "I want vigor bottles!!!". I think there's like 4 or 5 threads just about vigor bottles....

I don't think there is a consensus yet, but I am coming up with 1.75 to 2 inches diameter.

My thoughts exactly! I was leaning more towards one and three quarters myself.
I was just thinking we should all agree on a size so that way all of our bottles are pretty much in scale with each other. It would be a shame for everyone to make their own vigor and once sold does not fit in scale with the others.

Im committing my scale based on the emblem circle being 1.72.
Feel free scale based on the same everyone. If not, that's ok but just letting everyone know, devil's kiss will be scaled based on that measurement.

The only model I may build myself would be the murder of crows bottle, which would be around 10-10.5 inches? that sounds like an appropriate size...
Which brings me to another great question for all of you talented 3d modelers. Will you be selling the bottles that you print or will you be selling the file that you've made and then we have to get it printed? Or will you just be releasing the files?

Do you mean NUTS like buy them or nuts like sue me for copyright infinigement?
Like go crazy and buy them! Depending on the price I'm thinking you would at least have ten or so buyers in the first week if I advertised for you on Irrational games forums.

Nice, I orderd the silicone for the casting today so i think i could be ready to sell then in 10 days or so? one or two at first but if they sell well then ill take orders :p

Im sure they would sell !

I also hear people talk about vigor bottles around different forums

Oh yeah dude, trust me, you got this under your belt! If I can get enough money, I will probably even buy one. After all these makeup appliances, Spider Man props, and dates, I'm broke right now! But that's for a different time.
Has anyone thought of putting some kind of dye in the liquid to put in the bottles so that a black light LED could be attached possibly to the lid/cork?

I'm suprised no one has ripped the models from the game yet! Does anyone have any experience with ripping?

The game files are in a different format from previous games and people are having trouble finding a program to do it from what I get.

Looks great, definitely wish I had these when I started work on my Undertow bottle last week.

I'm still wrapping up work on the topper, but what the heck, might as well post my progress thus far on my Undertow bottle. Shout out to wasteguru since it was their WIP picture of their bottle that inspired me to give this a shot.

These were my materials, most of it was stuff I already had except for the glass paint. I got the glass bottle from an antique shop for about $10, not sure I'd recommend it for most people since 1. I feel bad painting over antiques, even if they are just glass bottles, and 2. a lot of antique bottles have embossed text. Thankfully I was able to dremel away most of the text, and the rest was covered up by clay anyway.

Painted over the bottle with a translucent glass paint, gives it a kinda stained glass look.

Part one of the claywork, with topper on the side (currently reworking the topper since it's too small).

Most of the claywork's done. Maybe it's just a model magic thing, but I didn't know how to cover up the 'seams' between different clay parts. At any case I quickly realized based on brief glimpses of the battle from walkthroughs that the tentacle layout on this bottle was impossible for me to decipher without access to the in-game models, so I just kinda winged it.

I used some spare resin from my last build as a sort of protective glaze over the clay, as small bits have a tendency to fall off if brushed against. This also helped partially fill in some of the seams, though the larger ones are still pretty noticeable.

First layer of paint. Not much else to say.

What started as an attempt at drybrushing turned into this, because I decided I kinda dug a more smudgy look.

This is the bottle as it currently stands. Clear coat has been applied to further protect everything, and I'm working on a larger, more accurate topper.

Gotta ask, what clay did you use?
