Best Mjolnir 2019

With all the custom shops out there now, is there a definitive replica for Mjolnirs? I would love to get a metal, weighty one.

Seems like the ones on ebay and etsy are all kind of cattoys ones modified.

I think this one is slightly undersized, but closer in detail than a lot of the cattoys look-alikes out there.

Can 100% confirm. The Cattoys / Ali/ all the ones being sold at that $120 -$180 range with the more orange leather handle is WAY undersized. I’m 6’4, and this thing feels itty bitty. Weight and quality is solid! But I can’t unsee how small it is.

the hunt continues I guess...

So I actually bought one of these but my post hasn't been approved by a moderator because I assume they think I'm selling them, but it is a pretty nice replica...

I'm working on a mjolnir at the moment, and have held (an ancestor) of the original hammer in my hand, and have to say, that metal one looks pretty amazing in accuracy! Mjolnir is actually not that big, definitely not as big as you would think - being 6'3 as well, it felt like I was holding a toy hammer (and a lot of props, unfortunately, can feel that way). I'd be interested to see how they can cast out aluminium that accurately and cheaply, but there seems to be a whole swathe of fairly affordable, metal prop replicas coming from China at the moment.

Could you provide the head / handle measurements you believe it would be?

I had the head measuring at ~220mm * 130mm * 130mm. The handle is ~320mm in total length, and the diameter is ~38mm at the metal and 36mm at the leather.

I've attached an image with the dims on my 3d model-

Thank you. The measurements on this one that many are purchasing are almost dead on with your measurements. (within fractions of an inch) Overall the head is slightly bigger and the handle slightly smaller. Feels weird because it feels so small compared to shots in End Game when Cap is holding it and it looks MASSIVE.

I suspect it was forced perspective! I have a stormbreaker too, and Mjolnir looks teeny compared to it. Don't get me wrong, it's still a big chunk of metal, and feels badass, but it just isn't a gigantic weapon- more brutal than big, I think!

Any updates on those pics Osufan? Very interested to see some detailed shots of the actual product.

If there are any other angles you want, let me know, will try to accommodate. I took some measurements, straight across, not bending to the shape of the head, it is approx 8.5 inches, if you bend to the shape of the head, it is 9 inches. The head is approx 5.5 inches tall, the handle approx 11.75 inches tall for a total height of 17.25 inches.

The measurements, weight, and even appearance of the screen-used Mjolnirs vary from movie to movie and even scene to scene, depending on what's needed. If you measure multiple screen-used hammers, each can be different from other ones, even in the same movie. There is no one correct answer. As long as you're close, and you're happy with the way it looks and feels--that's what's important. I think weathering of the uru is key. If overall accuracy is critical, it should look weathered and battle tested.

Honestly, the most available metal one, which is purchased and sold by hundreds of people that claim its “their design” is undersized. It was cool, very affordable and honestly probably still a great deal.

Being 6’4, and having an undersized Mjolnir just didn’t feel right. In hand, it becomes very obviously undersized. Since the KingArts it essentially entirely unavailable, I will be waiting for the next licensed production of a mjolnir.

Just re-weathered and polished my King Arts Mjolnir today.
got an itch after taking with another member about it.

Looks great.
Gives you a good idea of the size too- as that stand- other metal Mjolnirs fit into that very easily
Yeah had the stand from my cattoys mjolnir and I I liked it for my stand on my bedside table.
the wall mount was cool too but since I filled it with cement it won’t hold on it anymore

My girlfriend got me the Legends hammer for Valentines Day...Has anyone modded theirs at all?

The handle seems to have a lot of give to it. It makes me nervous to even hold it because of it.

This is my Hasbro ML Mjolnir, repainted with alclad, with dremelled knicks and bumps, and a new strap. The upgrades were done by TorontoStarLord on Insta. The lights and sounds still work!

The strap is by WinterSoldier72 on the gram.

I just wanted to share since I know a few people asked about ML repaints.
