Best Gun Design

I have a particular fondness of the Hammerburst, from the Gears of War games. Especially the retooled (Hammerburst II) version from Gears 2 and 3 (Especially 3).

Another gun I really love is this folding rifle design from the recent Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters movie.

I'm a little surprised no one has mentioned the Tesla pistol from Warehouse 13 yet. Probably my favorite.

(As you can tell from the steampunk version in my avatar that I made, I'm kinda fascinated with this one.)

Blades pistols in the first film were actually Mac 11's with a part of a Mac 10 on the front. You can see the size difference between the two. The Mac 10 was available in .45 ACP and 9mm. The standard Mac 11 was .380. The longer receivered ones are a Mac 11/9 which is a 9 mm conversion. It needs to be longer for a longer heavier bolt and recoil spring to contain the pressure of the 9 mm round which has a lot more pressure.

Ah. Thanks for the information, I have never fully researched them but will be doing so in the near future prepping to make a replica version. With that said.. this may not be the most fantastic looking weapon but it's one that will certainly be remembered. I also learned after the fact but suspected it when I first saw the film that I own a version of the shotgun used without the silencer canister naturally, after researching I found my suspicions confirmed that it was indeed the same model Remington I own. Always got a kick out of that.

My favourite gun designs from videogames are Laser Rifle from Fallout 3, and plasma cutter from Dead Space 2. Nothing beats the brute look of them.
As with movie guns, weapons from District 9 and Aliens for sure are the coolest.
