Outstanding!
Hey there guns, thank you I appreciate it. Haven’t talked with you in a while, what are you working on?Outstanding!
It’s me that’s insane, lolThat is just insane... I'm so impressed that you're still hanging on.
The detail, oh the detail.
Right?! I got a car to build so I probably won’t be starting any other models until it gets too cold to be in the garage again. The painter is nearly done with it so finishing Galactica soon may even be questionableInsane would be starting on the Pegasus right after this![]()
I couldn’t have a coupeA 2+2! Those are the best looking Mustangs. I'm so envious. You have impeccable taste, sir.
Of course not! Your impeccable taste wouldn't allow it.I couldn’t have a coupe
Can’t properly build a Shelby replica out of a coupe. This is the 3 one in 20 years. But I only have the oneOf course not! Your impeccable taste wouldn't allow it.I
Well it depends on what it is really, if it’s a plane old C code (289 2bl) or a T code 6 cyl like all mine have been, go for itMy dad's got a 2+2 in storage. I'm hoping one day I inherit it. I would do what you're doing: put a 350 in it, and paint it white with blue stripes. At least that's been my plan for the last 30 years. As far as I know it's 100% stock. Might be more valuable to leave it as it is.

Those Hawks look absolutely awesome! I’ve seen a few of them lately and those of yours are far and away superior. The details are exquisite.Oh...other stuff...

1/72 Bandai A-Wing Starfighter
I've been finishing up a Bandai A-Wing that I pulled from my stash last October. I primed it with my go-to primer these days, Badger Stynlrez (in black) and modified the engines to accept LED's. I originally wanted to light the cockpit too, but the tight interlocking nature of these...www.therpf.com

MPC/Round 2 1/72 Hawk Mk. IX
I wound up finishing this build just prior to the New Year. Not a bad kit, nowhere near Bandai level but superior to the old Airfix kit of yore. I was going to finish it with the orange markings but didn't find a shade that I liked, so I went with the simpler all-white pre-production version...www.therpf.com

1/72 Space 1999 Hawk encore...
Starting out the modeling year with the companion to last winter's all-white ship. Thanks to Analyzer for the tip on the Tamiya X-6 (Orange), it's turning out great! PS: I have the newest 1:48 kit coming. :cool:www.therpf.com

Thank you good sir! Those Hawks look absolutely awesome! I’ve seen a few of them lately and those of yours are far and away superior. The details are exquisite.
I know what you mean about Bandai fighters being difficult to light particularly the cockpits. I butchered an Xwing and ruined it trying to get all the lighting I wanted but on a second attempt I pulled it off, tricky as all get out and the price you pay for Bandai you hate to scrap em. I can’t get over how great those Hawks look, makes me want one! I built a couple of the Eagles when I was a kid and of course they look like crap but they were fun to build
Thank you my friend, most kind.Thank you good sir!
As for BSG, your build looks amazeballs. I missed out on snagging a nu-BSG Pegasus and of course it was gone the next time I stopped by. Ah well.
