Indy said he would try and get back with me by end of week. He has several projects he is working on, and trying to get his ducks in a row.

I've got some pretty intensive reference materials as well, this was a huge project for myself and another member years ago (Galacticon timeframe). We used his personal screen used uniform/jackets to get the patterns, colors, etc. I'd be be more than happy to help out.

I looked on the internet and I couldn't find any that sell the trim, I'm sorry.
There are some very good reference images online though.

That Black and Gold checkered board trim is a HARD item to find rarely comes up for sale. If it can't be sourced then it will have to be specially ordered to specs and it will had to price of the uniform. Its worth it, but it cost.

The wife and I went to the one in LA, man what a rush. It was just before the NuBSG (they showed some unfinished battle scenes), and we were able to get up close to childhood heroes, talk about what could have happened had DeSanto got to finish his vision. Really great times!

I have about 90 feet of the black and gold checkerboard trim in 1/2 inch size and most of a roll of the solid gold trim that I used on my modified tans that I have now I will post pics of the trim that I have later

Ok folks, as promised I've uploaded all my BSG data on uniforms. It includes all the reference material we used to re-create the uniforms as best possible. There are some guides for insignia, holster template and a tunic walk-thru. Anyone attempting this uniform should understand it is NOT for the faint of heart. Our seamstress had an extensive background in material use and TV costumes and had a heck of a time getting them just right, as you can see in some of the images and how they became more tailored before the final sets (about 4x) and she had access to some of the screen used uniforms you see in the SHOW folders. I'll answer any questions anyone may have, but honestly, celebrate that Indy is considering this endeavor 'cause it is a bumpy road. BSG Reference

Yeah this costume is a bear to make and has to be ’Fitted” or tailored to the individual wearing it.

More than 20 years ago I had a Pro seamstress, she did costume for stage , if she would reproduce my Screen Used tunic, and she just laughed at me while shaking her head no
