Finally built that second bicep, and was able to really suit up today, and I’m in love with the suit. It’s really transformative and incredibly flattering. Bicep needs to seal and paint, gauntlets need paint and darts, which I’ve yet to make, and I still need to build that pesky collar, but I’m so happy with this build thus far. Sorry for spamming you with photos!

added those weird tubes to my undersuit, no idea what these are for, but these smaller details really make the suit feel more alive.

Finished the collar, just waiting for the paint to dry, and built my version of what I assume is a smoke pellet, for about 3$ worth of misc. PVC.

Final suit up before its debut tomorrow at the renaissance festival, and I’m happy with it for this year at least. The collar is tough to attach to the undersuit, actually, everything is tough to attach to the undersuit. It’s a pain to get into and the maneuverability is a joke, I didn’t have time to make the boot gaiters and the belt is too small, and the darts keep falling out on account of them being steel drinking straws. But it looks pretty damn good, and it’s a great starting point for next years suit. Happy halloween

New cowl courtesy of FanaticFX, he’s selling flawed casts for unbelievable discounted prices, picked this one up for 20% of cost and there’s practically nothing wrong with it. Highly recommend. I’ll post pics in the full suit soon.

Cowl looks great. Do you have a longer neck? Or is the neck of the cowl just a bit short? I'm a shorter guy (5'8") so I'm wondering how it might fit on me.

Fairly certain I just have a long neck, I’ve seen a lot of people in the FanaticFX cowls and they all seem to fit snug at the base. I’ll have to come up with something clever for my case I suppose.

You could always split it into two parts and wear a spandex hood underneath.

This looks so good, and you kind of look like Brenton Thwaites! Lol.
Do you happen to have a link for the undershit and pants you used?
Here are the pants:
TACVASEN Men's Tactical Cargo Pants Outdoor Sport Military Ripstop Pants https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DL2715...abc_56P1KEB6FX9PH888AZ5R?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

And the shirt:
MAGCOMSEN Men's Tactical Military Shirts 1/4 Zip Long Sleeve Shirt with Pockets Amazon.com: Tactical Shirts for Men Long Sleeve T Shirt Men Combat Shirts Military Shirts Army Shirt Hiking Shirts Work Shirts Summer Shirts Fishing Shirts Grey: Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry

And thanks!

Incredible work!! Do you happen to know if FanaticFx is still around? Or how to get in touch? I NEED one of those cowls!!
I can confirm that FanaticFX don't make stuff for others anymore, they're called "fanatic cosplays" now. I highly recommend GC5Fx though as they make what's withour a doubt the most accurate Pattinson cowl to date!

I've taken huge inspiration from your build so I figured I should share where I'm at with mine! With your guys help I managed to track down a "friend of a friend" of FanaticFX to get the cowl, and it's time like this where I had a stronger jawline, but I guess you can't with them all lol. It fit pretty well, but ice done a handful of modifications to it so that it fits relatively normal. Added wire to the jawline and the cheekbone so that I can form it more to my face, and cut it at the neck for an easier time putting it on.
I just clipped everything together last night so I could get my first proper look with everything that I have finished. I still have a few things to tweak but I'm satisfied so far.

I've already cut/ painted the abs but I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions as to the best way to implement them. My initial thought was velcro but I'm not sure how well that would stay to the shirt over time. Any suggestions?
