Re: Batsuit build (Avengers Capt. A style)

The sketches look awesome, I like the fact you used Cap's suit as a base but then went with your own choices for its design.

Re: Batsuit build (Avengers Capt. A style)

Very cool design! The look of the boots is sweet!

Re: Batsuit build (Avengers Capt. A style)

Wow this is amazing. I always live how fans have adapted the bat suits and the suits themselves have evolved in both the comics and movies

Re: Batsuit build (Avengers Capt. A style)

Where did you get the pouches for the belt? I'm looking for something like that.

Re: Batsuit build (Avengers Capt. A style)

It's been a while but a quick update here just to show you guys the first pull of my cowl.

It's very rough but hopefully the next pull will be better.

Did you sculpt this yourself, looks very professional, do you have any photos of the production?

Yes it's the second sculpt that I've ever made. Thank you so much for the compliment! Though it is very far from professional. Here are some pics of my sculpt somewhere in the later stages:

This is amazing work! Every time I see a thread like this is inspires me to make my own cowl, I can never quite find the courage to go for it though :/

I'd like to know a few things though:

1) The dummy that the cowl is sculpted onto, is that a cast of yourself, or just a half bodied mannequin?

2) This is something that's been bugging me for a while now, when you made your gauntlets, how do they attach/do up? I made a Dark Knight costume a while back for a work fancy dress day thing for Comic Relief, but I ran out of time and couldn't do the gauntlets in any way that I was happy with. I simply stuck Velcro onto each 'strap' and overlapped them :/ So yeah, just how? :p
