I don't know who casted this kit or where it came from but after studying it, I believe it has some lineage to the original 2' filming miniature from the 1989 movie. There have been several castings that have made it into private hands and have been sold through auctions like Propstore over the years. Although the wings have been cut and parts of it have been cleaned up, most of the details match the 2' filming miniature (and other castings that got out) right down to the imperfections. I purchased this from Kurt Kuhn and he didn't have much more information on it either.....Regardless, these don't pop up often. What you see is what you get. Comes with a clear vacuformed canopy. $1000 shipped within the US.
