I wish there were some way to send Bandai a petition and inform them of our interest. There are plenty of kits from all of Star Wars that I would love to have in my collection if they were as well engineered as Bandai's kits are.
But lately, I have another problem. I asked for some Bandai Star Wars kits (and Gundam too) for Christmas. I got a few. But suddenly, all the kits I really want (Gundam too) are sold out at retail prices. If I want to pay 150-200% of retail, I have plenty of options, but I'm not willing to drop $150 on a 1/48 X-Wing. What is up with distribution? Supply is obviously not meeting demand.
You sure it's not Alfred Wong's that's been released by a few garage-kit makers like Fantastic Plastic and Millennia Models?Tie Bomber 1/72 scale painted up on eBay I see.
There is still a major global pandemic happening which is (still) affecting manufacturing and supply chains. But lately, I have another problem. Andy Moore’s work is absolutely incredible. By far my favourite model kit builder/painter. Super nice guy as well. The TIE Bomber description says it was painted by Andy Moore. His painting is exquisite - go to Britmodeller, the Modelling News, or his Flickr - Andy Moore’s albums | Flickr. If he really painted it, it is a screaming deal as the paint job will be perfect.
If the Khetanna is any indicator, then no, you'll be stuck with eBay. I was so bummed to have missed THAT one!To those who ordered the HasLab Razor Crest, I missed the pre-order window. Will there be a way of buying these after release? (apart from ebay I mean). Or is a one-and-done thing
