Bandai release schedule

I just bought a couple more Bandai kits from Space Battleship Yamato, and curse Bandi for their excellent work! , I'm actually thinking of buying some Gundam kits!

Their stuff is just beyond words!

The incredibly fine edges on their kits are not to be beaten by any other company!

Amazing stuff!

That being said, PLEASE Bandai, release a 1/35th Republic gunship with clone trooper compliment!:D

The Yamato kits are amazing. The 1/1000 line-up is pretty fleshed out apart from the large ships that just can't practically be done at that scale

I especially love the 1/72 line of fighters. So far the hero ship variants for Kato and Shinohara's Cosmo Falcons and Kodai and Yamamoto's Cosmo Zero Alpha 1 and 2

Like people asking for 1/72 B-Wing, Tie Bomber etc... people have been holding out hope they expand that line-up to include the Seagull and some of Garmilla's ships as well as the Cosmo Tigers

Bandai kits are so well made they are fun to put together, regardless of subject.
I am still so grateful they got the Star Wars license.

I wonder- if they are able to start distributing the large figures in North America, will they be able to start making small standing figures for the vehicle kits and do away with those stupid flats?

Are you talking about the flat figure included in the A-Wing kit?

All recent releases of the 1:72 & 1:144 scale kits have had flats instead of dimensional standing figures- only the first production runs before Bandai got permission to sell in the US market have 'normal' figures. IIRC this was due to another company having distribution rights for mini Star Wars figures and Bandai had to avoid product overlap.
Sad thing is that if they were to produce a Republic Gunship they would either have to have no figures besides the seated pilots/gunners or resort to flats for the Stormtroopers being transported.

I would be over the moon if they did Star Trek again. My god the starships they could make with their technology today.

I'm afraid it all comes down to, what's hot in Japan. It seems that even Star Wars is slipping off their radar.

Saw the thread update and thought the B-Wing was getting announced. This is pretty cool though and will be headed toward my Falcon shelf. Looks great!
