Bandai release schedule

I do remember it, as I have built one as a kid (it must be laying somewhere half-finished), but don't remember if it had this detail. Posts about its accuracy never end good, so I didn't think more about it - now as you mentioned it, I looked for pictures, and it seems as if it really had them angled. So the oldest kit of them all is more accurate then the following, regarding this detail? Never would have thought so.

Hmm, what is this?

The placard in question, if you look at what is shown between the mandibles of the model, is that a lit loading ramp/entry way? But that little blue circle seems to be highlighting the strut on the ramp.

YES!!!!

I hate electronics with a passion...yet I love seeing them

One question I have about this falcon is in regards to the piping. Fine molds failed IMHO in regards to the piping

It says on the card in front 1/44 or something, but that can't be right...
It is definitely 1/144

But according to the measurements, it is a couple centimetres longer than the fine molds version. I think that alone is going to make this thing look quite spectacular

You know it. Im sure Bandai actually referenced the dimensions of the new falcon. I bet the fine molds is a complete artists rendition of the original, not dimesionally accurate. if it was they would have got the front mandibles and centre section right.

Im so grateful for the pics posted above, any titbit of info i can see is such a bonus, i love this new falcon

I really hope that falcon cockpit can be seamed up a bit more. It looks a bit like the action fleet there.

It looks like the entire top saucer section of the Falcon is removable to be able to access the batteries and switch, since the battery cover is screwed in its module. You can see the seam run along the top of the docking ring, the front saucer perimeter and through the mandible boxes. This can be verified by the small pic on the card showing the entire saucer top off but the mandibles remain intact as a whole.
