@Tigerblood- good find! That now both simplifies and complicates this reproduction. I don't have to stress about finding the exact weave of fabric, but now I have to find good quality fabric in those shades AND get them screen printed with that pattern.
@Gemini- I can see it too. Stark probably designed this suit, and his armor designs could have potentially influenced it. I was also thinking, a rigid urethane tinted the right shade. It most certainly has a rubber look to it.

Do you really think that the fabric is screenprinted? It really looks textured or woven to me. This situation sort of reminds me of the hunt for the TDK mesh fabric.
