I think I remember reading that the new armor with the circle RT is the MK 7..... this shot from the " button trailer " seems to be the MK 6 from IM 2.
This information comes from the toy release names under the avenger line, with the Iron man figure being marked as MK 7...that might explain the diff.

You are amazing!! It TOTALLY looks like cordura material. I just didn't know the name of it, but I thought it was the same fabric used on motocross jackets. The hunt continues!

I didn't stay after the credits of Cap Am...wish I had.
The Avengers Cap costume looks really good.
I wasn't looking forward to this movie, until after seeing CA TFA.

@ Ham - I feel like Fury will probably be more of the "M" to Cap's "James Bond" He'll probably tell Cap what to do but he won't leave the Helicarrier.

That's what I am hoping for, too. Fury should be base command while Cap runs the team on field. That being said, though, I won't be surprised in the slightest to see Fury, Coulson and Hill on the front lines too, especially if they're using the Skrulls. It's not how I would do the first Avengers movie, but it'd make sense with how they're building things. The Avengers are obviously going to be a SHIELD sponsored team.

Cordura also comes in different weaves. Also a guy from work actually made a huge point that to the fact Cap rides a motorcycle that his new suit is a two-piece motorcycle suit.

UPDATE!! Some hi res pics have been released, it looks like the entire suit- red, white, and blue(s) are all the same ballistic style fabric.

I assume those are just pockets. Like flight suits that have thigh pockets.

assumptions on the material is put to rest, LoL. Looks like a regular fabric with patterns silkscreened onto it. Shield Agents also have the same material used for their suits.

Don't the boots look a little bit like the mark IV-VI shins? At least that's what it looks to me I also see the wing is "depressed" on the new helmet. Material of the helmet could be tough rubber or just resin?

@Tigerblood- good find! That now both simplifies and complicates this reproduction. I don't have to stress about finding the exact weave of fabric, but now I have to find good quality fabric in those shades AND get them screen printed with that pattern.
@Gemini- I can see it too. Stark probably designed this suit, and his armor designs could have potentially influenced it. I was also thinking, a rigid urethane tinted the right shade. It most certainly has a rubber look to it.
