I used the same method as I did for the elbows. I used a set of snap magnets attached to nylon strapping. If you want a sturdier, less bendy, joint just use a thin piece of plastic instead of the nylon strapping. The joints have worked great and have never come apart at a troop. I just unsnap them for travel to save space. Good luck and your build looks great so far! keep up the good work!

The armor is on a dummy now so it was hard to get a shot but this should show the basic setup. The first snap magnet tabs are pushed through two slits in the nylon webbing and then crimped on the back side. This section of nylon and snap is then hot glued to the thigh piece. The other snap magnet is attached to the end of another nylon strap. The other end is hot glued to the shin armor. My knee and shin armor are permanently attached together so they move together. Hope that helps!

I used Helagak's Mark 42 files for the whole suit. The Mark 43 has some minor differences (mostly in the abs) but they are so minor it was not worth trying to remake them. The biggest change is just the paint job. If you want to make it super-accurate you can still use the Mark 42 as a base pep file and then free hand the changes. Good Luck!

Thanks! It is a metallic gold zentai bodysuit I bought off eBay from a Chinese seller. It works great and looks much better than the black or red suits in my opinion.
