Thanks! To be fair, I am terrible at model kits! :lol That is why I build bigger things!I am in awe of the level of talent I see on this board! I can barely make it through a model kit these days and you are taking foam and making an awesome Iron Man out of it!!??
awesome! great work
Thomas
Yup, this is DOPE! Not sure what else to say! With all your hard work, people and fans are going to flip!
Amazing build :thumbsup congratulations on your success !!
I know I say it all the time, but I love the fact that in certain countries like the US,where heroism is much more alive and integrated in daily life, you can dress up - alone or with friends - and go to the movie theatre to see your favorite premiere. On top of that, people come up to you for a chat or a photo.Priceless experience
Could you please post the link to where you ordered the helmet, attempting a speed build myself and would like a shortcut on the helmet. Thanks.
That might be the best Pep suit I've ever seen. Great work!
Hey!
What a greate build!! I am AMAZED! Good Job MAN!
They are too small and inflexible out of the box. That is why I an cutting them into smaller pieces and attaching them to these gloves I found the other day. They even have built in ribbing!

The cut pieces give good mobility and the time I saved is wonderful! They also have a light and sound feature that make repulsor sounds based on the position of your hand.
Hand Down - Light is off and "power down" sounds
Hand Up - Light is on and "power up" sounds
Shake or Thrust Hand - Light blinks and "firing" sounds

I am going to leave the light in and build up a bit of foam detail around it and then relocate the battery, speaker and switch to under the handplate.

More to come! I can feel the deadline breathing down the back of my neck!
Hey do you think you could post pictures of these finished? I have these too and this looks like a great solution to making them more "adult friendly".
Here you go! I think the only change I would make is to use a red zentai glove underneath since the fingers can be a bit tight on bigger fingers. The pressure has chipped off a bit more of the paint than I would like. This is after wearing them for about 10 hours so far.

Good luck with your build!
You've inspired me with the gloves. What glue did you use to glue both sets of gloves together? I tried super glue on some fabric gloves but they started to smoke! Yikes!
I used the Loctite Gel Control super glue. The only thing I ended up gluing was the fingertips. The rest of the fingers and the palms are free floating and hold in place with just friction since they are rubber!
