Assassin's Creed III

When I made my Abner Journal I used this YouTube video which I found a lot better than just trying to work it all out from pictures.

As other people have said, it's not very difficult, but it is time consuming and takes some patience.

You might also want to make/buy a book press. I built one for myself using two wooden chopping boards, two long M10 coach bolts, two washers and two wingnuts. I used it a lot for my build.

hope these help and please check out her other tutorials too they are really useful and simple to follow

Thanks for all the help guys, I'm likely going to use perfect binding on my loose pages, but I'm currently recreating the AC codex by hand, it's an oppourtunity to attempt the signatures method.

Just had a question, what kind of knot do you put at the end of the string for sewing the signatures together?

The knots are covered in this video. Basically you just do an overhand knot and pull it through to the back, that's the same as you do when you run out of tread and need to tie a new bit in too. It doesnt have to be super strong because you cover it in glue anyway so it really wont come undone.
