Hi guys and girls,
After i almost finishedmy test suit i started with my final suit. The test suit i sewn myself but for the final suit i want good sewings :p

The puff paint is almost done. Next weekend i will sew the seperate mask and hopefully bring the suit to a seamstress.

For the webbings i used the Tulip Slick Black. For the "sewing" lines on the blue i used Slick Navy Blue.

I wanna thank some ppl before i move on in this thread.
First a huge thanks to Lunaman cause his "how to build an Ultimate Spidey suit" brought me to theRPF and so helped me to make my own suit. Also he helps the ppl alot and i appreciate that alot.
My 2nd thanks goes to TJack for making such an amazing job im Spiderman lenses and faceshells. Also on his costumer service and his advices.
And the 3rd thanks goes to Orharder for making those amazing patterns.

Without you guys i would not be able to get my own Spidey suit together ;)

A lil pic of the mask sewing :D ImageUploadedByTapatalk1398462087.387496.jpg

I Stretched the back to 40cm to install the zipper. Damn its diff to sew an invisible zipper in a fabric that is stretched and to get the webbing match. Its not perfect but its ok since its a black zipper.
U will see it tomorrow ;)

The sewing lines will be puffpainted to make the webbing complete.

Good night everyone ;)

I love the mask. I colors look great. I will have to stretch the back a bit more so the front gets lets tention and that the red doesnt light up so much. But i love it :D

Yes. I sewed it myself. The zipper on the back was stressful this time cause i stretched the fabric to get the 16inch zipper. To make the lines match is tricky.

The puff paint makes it easier cause u can put the ends of the webbing together since its lil sticky. It helps to place the fabrics together.
Also it helped to do the test suit :D

The rest of the suit will go to a seamstress tho. The zippers r too stressful. Would need more practice for it.

Really? I've been thinking about getting plain fabric and painting on the lines after sewing is done, that was I dont have to worry about matching up lines.

Still watching a lot of threads to see how it goes for people including yours, I dont plan on starting til closer to halloween :p

You have to do the painting before sewing cause u have to place the fabric flat on cardboard or something. I think its impossible to make it good on a sewn suit.

I paint over the sewing lines after sewing and its a pain in the ass to imagine to do that on a whole suit :)

I installed some padding of a bike helmet on the inside on the forehead/eyebrows and the cheekbones :)
So it feels super comfy and i have enough space thats its not touching my nose.
