Aron's Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit WIP (Orharder print, TJack shell/lense Combo)

I installed some padding of a bike helmet on the inside on the forehead/eyebrows and the cheekbones :)
So it feels super comfy and i have enough space thats its not touching my nose.

That's a good idea! I am on tjack's wait list too. can't wait to get them:D

Actually i wear a skimask under it where i installed the paddings on.
I didnt want to glue it in the faceshell cuz i had to try around a few times till i had it placed right.
Now i will put the shell and the skimask together to make the faceshell into a full head mask. Kinda like they did it with the shell in the movie.

Just as an info for european ppl. Lsprints is great. The colors are awesome. The polyester spandex is slick and soft and there is almost no white coming thru when stretched.

You should show us how to sew the thumb :)

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here r 2 pics of the thumb of my test suit.
Wouldnt use a overlock stitch for the fingers anymore. I normal stitch is better to go in a curve.
To apply the thumb on the suit i would do an overlock.

Infirst sewed the thumb and hand and then attached the thumb to the hand.

Sorry i cant do more :)

I so love the light reflecting of the red. Its not noticible on the pics really. It really shines in the light. Sometimes almost purplish.
I love it.

I will use metallic blue on the blue bricks now

Does Tulip have metallic blue? If not, what brand is it?

Yes. I only use colors from tulip.
For the black webbing i used slick black.
And for "sewing lines" that are printed on the blue area i used the slick navy blue.

I ordered a bottle of metallic blue and metallic black to compare it and to see which i use for the blue bricks. :)

Yeah, Tulip seems to a very go-to brand for spandex :lol

Can you find them in a store; such as Michael's or a craft store? Or order them online?

I guess in usa you find then even in big store and in craft stores too.

Im in germany :) here i have to order it online cause where i live we dont have stores like that.

Maybe if u look in the webpage of a store you can see if they sell it:)

-update- wash the fabric before u paint it :)
Cold wash with a mini bit of washer for color fabric :)

Ahhh okay. Yeah then I can probably find them in a craft store around here.

So wash it in cold then probably dry on delicate.

I cut it into the parts. Then washed it in the washing machine at 30degrees celsius (its called cold wash here too) with a tiny bit of liquid washing stuff for colored fabric.
Actually the colors looks even bit better after washing it. More bright.
Then i did hang it in the living room to let it dry (thats why i cut it before, cause one hugh single piece is difficult to hang somewhere).

But u can hand wash it too i guess

Yeah I'll probably just do that. Wash on cold, then hang it in my living room to dry. I'm just gonna make a two piece and let it dry for a day... THEN go buy the loads of Tulip paint :lol

:) i needed 10 little bottles for the black webbing. Lol.
But i didnt use every bottle till the last drop cause thats when the air bubbles came too often :|

Smart thinking. I might do that too, but I have to practice a lot first so I'll probably buy like 12 :lol

Did you do it all the webbing in one day?
