Aron's Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit WIP (Orharder print, TJack shell/lense Combo)

Yeah that's why I'm buying an extra few bottles to practice. I want my suit to be really awesome looking so I want to basically perfect the webbing, honeycomb style, etc with all the slick and puff paint.

I'll probably practice for a few days to master the skill of it ;)

Thats good. Im sooo impatient :D

Ok. Here is the first test of blues for the bricks.
Slick navy blue (dark)
And
Slick royal blue (light)

I prefer the navy blue. I hope the metallic colors i ordered will arrive tomorrow. Then i decide if i go with the navy blue or a metallic one

The navy blue looks good. Im very interested in seeing the metallic blue too. Do you have metallic silver? I was thinking of trying a very thin layers of metallic silver on the bricks of my suit, but scared of it looking horrible. Is it possible to test it on your test suit? If you don't mind that is.

Maybe you're right. Well let's see how that metallic blue turns out when you get it :)

In day light the navy blue looks pretty good.
First pic is against the daylight and the 2nd is with the day light.

On the last pic from above u see what happens when u make the paint lines too thin or have the tip too close on tje fabric.
The paints did sink into the fabric on some spots.

Metallics arrived. Not really what i was hoping for. The blue is way too light and the metallic black looks like dirty silver.
So desicion made :D i go with slick navy blue.

Also the slick colors are more handy to use in their condesnity.

I think you need to shake the bottle more, it sinks in like that because it's not mixed properly. Btw I really like the metallic black, I might use that but a more thin layer.

that metallic black looks right on to be honest, I might even use that for the webs with a little bit of white mixed in

For the webs its a matter of taste :)
The metallic black looks like the webs of the raimi suits.
I always prefered black webs like in the comics :)

And the sinking comes from being to close to the fabric. Kinda like a brush effect :)
With a bit practice u can do it really thin.

Ofcourse, it's your build bro, that's why I said I'm plannin on using this on the webs, you can definitelly do however you wanna do it, I was talking about my suit ;) heck even go for a rainbow coloured web lol, reggea spidey hahah, I might build sth. like that in the future just for fun xD

Ohh, I gotta try this out then. I just know doing the bricks is gonna take soo long, but it's totally worth it at the end.

That's my problem with puffy paint. I get the tip to close to material. If I try for thicker lines I get air bubbles. What's the best way to get great lines? What tips for the paint bottles do you use?

After every few lines shake the bottle wit the top down so the air getd away from the tip. And always store the bottles upside down
