I edited this in photoshop so we could get a better look at the nylon frame for the mask. As you can tell this bad boy is secure to the skull and head of the wearer. Looks like you might have to make your own unless someone knows where to buy one of these. I will capture some shots from the back and post those later.

snoose27 - where did you purchase your armor at? I have found a few sites, but not a whole lot off the things one would need to do this right. Things like shoulder, shin, crotch and thy armor.

the shoulder and shin and crotch armor is either going to have to be scultped or sew one together im going to try to make on out of clay nad then cask one out of some kind of rigid or simi-rigid foam but they dont allways have that armor on. so its a personal thing. as for armor this ebay site is ok

I got my From an Austrailian Company, that Ships From China...
It is Really just for Paintball.. But looks Pretty Close to the stuff the 2 Guys are wearing in the CGI pic...

After looking at the eBay links there, which are VERY nice, I have a few dumb questions. That 'USMC MOLLE Assault LBV Vest' does that go over the other vest with the collar? Stupid question, but it looks like to get the look we want that both these vest will have to be worn at the same time and that doesn't seem right. I know I should just probably wait for the game to come out check the options and see how they 'suit up'. I just can't get over those masks they are so damn cool!

the first one just looks heavy in the front but doesnt have any thing in the back

well updates

none lol its not that i havent wanted to but a guy at where i work decided to go to atlanta and i had to cover his shift. but i have started to do the final smooth out on the mask and have added a bullit like ding on the right side. i do have this weekend off and should be able to finnish the mask

Good to hear things are moving along even if they are baby steps. I, for one, believe in the old saying, 'You can not rush perfection'. So get keep at it and do it right.

Still need to find the other bits and pieces to the armor and/or figure out how to make them. Then there is the head gear for the helmet. Thinking more along the lines of 'Night Vision Goggles' frame work with a welding mask henge.

You guys and gals out there have thoughts and ideas how to put that one off PLEASE, post away.

snoose27 - When you get a chance once the vest comes in put in on and take some photos for us if you would.

soon to be done

well agian no pics but it is smoothed out to my satisfaction not to a new out of the box smooth but its as smooth as i can get it. anyway i will be buying all the products i need to make the mold and mother mold and casting hopefuly next couple of weeks i will be done with it and moving on with something new and ill be done with my first sculpt:lol

Good to hear the updates and your work is coming along. Little more research for every one. Found a harness that is just like the ones in the photos we have seen so far, here. Looks like costuming this Video Game might get expensive and quick. Unless there is a nock-off look a like out there I don't know about.

The 'Collar' section I think is separate, but who knows what other armor options they have out there. Of course I'm just putting my random thoughts out there. What about everyone else what do you think?

hopeing to buy the stuff this week and have the first cast in about two if the send it all (crosses fingers) i have had some setbacks my jeep had to be repaired so that took all my make-a-mask fund :lol but now im back on track
