In other news, I decided to do one more round of tweaks on the hammer model before molding it. Here's an in-progress pic:
And here it is in it's current, more accurate, state:
I'll be molding it as soon as I get a good coat of gloss on the whole thing.

Dude, that came out gorgeous. One minor thing: the horns in the show are a gunmetal or dark silver metallic color. If you do a heavy drybrushing, it's an easy thing to match.

Finished shining up the hammer prototype:
Molding begins today. I'm going to be selling raw cast resin copies of that beauty (with a metal or carbon rod down the middle for strength) for $107 shipped anywhere in the US.

Hammer molds are poured:
Now I'm just waiting on the second half to cure so I can cast them:
Casting begins tomorrow. These will have a rod cast inside for rigidity and strength. I'll be selling the hammers as a raw kit for $107 shipped anywhere in the US.

So this afternoon I took a peek inside the hammer mold:
It turned out gorgeous:
The first cast came out great:
It's just the right size:
This one has a hollow carbon fiber tube running down the handle to save on weight, but at almost 28 ounces it's still a bit heavier than I'd like:
Tomorrow I'll be picking up more resin and I'll cast a few of these guys with some microspheres added to the mix to cut down on the weight. I'll probably add a hollow piece of tubing to the head as well. Ideally I want these under a pound to make them better for carrying around in costume.

This will fit a standard size human female.
Seriously though, I have a pic in the first post with my assistant Rachel wearing it. She has around a 30" bust but she's also wearing coveralls with a sweatshirt underneath:
For a slightly better idea of the fit, here's my girlfriend Shawnon wearing the prototype in a tight t-shirt:
She's a lean 5'8.5" tall with a 32" bust:
I have a 44" chest and, while I'm able to squeeze myself into it, it looks ridiculously undersized on me. The most important measurement is the width of the ribcage under the arms. Here's a tape measure on the prototype to give you a better idea of that size:
